TIME

How important is time in our lives? A clock that ticks around our existence.

We may think we have plenty of time to do the things we want to do, but it doesn’t
chime in our favour.

If an average human life is 79 years long, this is only 948 months, 28,835 days,
692,040 hours,

And yes, within those days is your whole lifespan. In those hours, you have a whole life
to live and it’s not that long if you think about it.

It’s funny to think that we can never turn a clock around but only move forward.

But isn’t that the whole purpose of life? to move forward?

Well yes, but how do we make use of the time that’s given to us.

- Idea: Our every daily cycle consists of a twenty-four hour period. This is
one of those things that is what it is and cannot be changed. Even though
you can’t control time, you can control how the time you have is used.

Just like a baby, it doesn't give up every time it falls when learning how to walk. It pulls
itself up and tries again.

In fact, it never stops trying to walk. It keeps trying for as long as it takes.

It never occurs  that there’s failure, and repeats the process in spite of the bruises along
the way.

But ultimately, the child succeeds in walking. The same thing each one of us experience
when were younger.

But what gives us the drive and motivation to keep going on?

It is simply perseverance- persistent determination

This determination can be found in every walk of life and in every age. We succeed
because we are determined to succeed, not destined to succeed.
I think many of us are determined, people. We keep practicing our craft, over and over
again because we want become better versions of ourselves.
But sometimes, you can be affected by people around you, like  friends, that are way
ahead of you, or for some, may be behind.
But,  everything happens at their own pace, their own speed, their own time.
The greatest achievers don't simply sit back and wait for success to come along.
They keep moving forward and persevering because they are determined.
Eg. It took till age 32 for JK Rowling to publish Harry Potter after being rejected by 12
publishers.
Jack Ma started Alibaba when he was 35.
By that age, most of us will be finished with a degree in college and off to work.

What I’m saying is that, “They all have their own time and clock, and so do you”

“So when will your clock start ticking?”
