The Company code is an organizational entity created for a legal entity in FI.

The Accounting code is an organizational entity created for a legal entity in TRM. The Accounting
code is linked to the Company code and forms the bridge between FI & TRM

Valuation Area enables parallel accounting / valuation as per different accounting rules /
standards (Eg Indian Companies Act, US GAAP, IAS etc). Every company must have at least one
'operative' valuation area. Parallel valuation areas are optional.

Valuation Classes enable valuation of specific Instruments within a valuation area; the specific
valuation basis/rules for different instruments are mapped for each valuation class (such as
valuation of Long-term / Short-term instruments).

The Organization Structure for AL TRM system will be created as follows:
