    Shop Assistant: Slow in movement and mind, but has a touch of


    attitude, having worked at the chicken shop for way too long.
    Little care for his appearance, but not unattractive.

    INT. CHICKEN SHOP - DAY


    RIKKI, SHOP ASSISTANT (G)

    A SHOP ASSISTANT (late 20’s) stares blankly from behind the


    counter. He wears a uniform and cap which, on someone else,
    would look smart and professional.

    SHOP ASSISTANT
    (bored)
    So... one chicken?

    RIKKI
    No, just get a couple of
    drumsticks, thanks.

    The Shop Assistant starts ringing it up on the cashier which


    gives a loud BEEP each time.

    SHOP ASSISTANT
    Okay.
    (beep)
    Anything else?

    RIKKI
    Maybe a couple of wings?

    SHOP ASSISTANT
    Okay.
    (beep)
    You want chicken breasts? They’re
    on special.

    RIKKI
    Really? A couple of those then.

    SHOP ASSISTANT
    Okay.
    (beep)
    So now you pretty much have a whole
    chicken - but in bits. You want to
    buy a whole chicken instead?

    RIKKI
    That would be simpler. Thanks.

    The Shop Assistant does a cursory check at the refrigerator


    behind him.

    SHOP ASSISTANT
    We’re out of whole chickens.
