Cabling
Connect the cables to the connectors shown in the figure below. D-O Display controller board and the audio
adapter are found at the rear of the C-NET1/C-NTNET, C-ARRWS/C-ARRWSTEL computer.

2. VGA Cable – connect to D-O Display controller board (B-CDISP) or C-ARRWS/C-ARRWSTEL


display board.

3. Audio line-in port – connect to computer’s audio adapter.

Central Configuration
Start the Central setup –program (C:\CENTRAL\SETUP\CSETUP.EXE).

Type in the password and press OK.

Two Patient Screens

In D-O Central Setup Program select Patient Screens à General à Patient screen 1 type . Change the default
screen type (CRT) to flat screen by double clicking the LCD selection in the list of Available values.

If you have two D-O Display controller boards (B-CDISP) installed into your system and both patient screens will
be flat screens, select LCD also for the Patient screen 2 type .

One Patient Screen
If you have only one D-O display controller board (B-CDISP) and flat screen installed, change the Patient screen
1 type to LCD as learned in the previous chapter. Then change the Patient screen 2 type to None - as shown
below:

ARRWS Configuration
No adjustment in the S-ARR99 software.

Locking the screen
When the flat screen is sent out from the Datex-Ohmeda production line, the audio volume is set to maximum
value and the screen buttons are locked. If other screen settings (brightness, colors etc) are adjusted, make
sure you do not turn the volume lower.

To adjust the screen settings, unlock the screen by pressing the , and t -buttons simultaneously. After
adjustments, lock the buttons by pressing the same buttons in the same way.

NOTE When used with C-ARRWS/C-ARRWSTEL there could be some vertical shadow columns or
horizontal noise lines. These are not normally caused by defective display unit.
These can be corrected by settings (POSITION à CLOCK and PHASE).

1. On/off button

Turn the screen on by pressing the ¤ -button (number 1 in the picture above).

NOTE When you want to turn the screen off, press and hold ¤ -button for two seconds.
