Farewell Party
Say goodbye to my friends in Korea!
Hold a party in my house to celebrate me
Korean Musical Festival going to the United States as well as our
class enrolling to high school

I live at Daejeon and make a trip to Seoul with
my BF to go to Korean Musical Festival in
which Wanna One performs. So fun! (Also, this First Day in the U.S.
is my first day trying contact lenses) Met my uncle and grandmother at San Francisco
YEAR International airport. I was so so tired after long 13 hrs
(still in Korea) flight, but my tiredness disappeared right away when I
had an eye contact with my adorable dog Toto
Move-in Day!
Looking for the house to live for a month! My daily
routine was to wake up, eat, look around the house,
and sleep. Finally, we decided to live in the Fountain
Park Apartment. Lots of children playing around, so First Rally in LHS
little noisy but the apartment was cool in the summer # My first rally in my entire life
It feels like a little festival with

competition. I remember I wore
white blouse as a sophomore.
Golden Bell Everyone was so excited, and I had a
fun meeting with class of 2020.
Participate in Golden Bell held by NUAC! YEAR
Most of the questions were about the history of
Korea and the unification between South and
North Korea. As a person who has studied Korean
history for 16 yrs, I aced it! (It was easy-peasy.)

Visit Korea during summer break

Traveled all over the Korea with my family!
Collected clam shell with pretty colors at the beach;
Went to Busan and ate broiled eels;
Hang out at Eunhaeng-dong and watched Jurassic Par
4 with my friends;
Move-in to a new house Ate Korean foods (much more delicious than Korean

foods sold in America: especially spicy foods!

So much noise than we expected due to

neighbor's non-stop parties in previous apartment.
Decided to move in and found out the ideal home
near Cupertino Library and Park.

Hackathon
Vacation by train to San Francisco.
Attended Hackathon camp for 2 days! Lots of people, lots of traffics, and lots of
Didn't sleep and finished coding the app program attractions to visit
called Poison Ivy with Scratch. Awarded Top Team Ate clam chowder and played in the ocean

Halloween
Wore makeup as Harley quinn!

Took lots of photos with friends who also dressed up
with costume and helped them put a little makeup for
more perfect dressup

Cram for ACT

Spent entire summer break on studying for ACT!
So much time pressure but I got better as I practice more.
Don't remember how many workbooks I solved. Still have a
file that contains all of my practice exams!
Guatemala #NO_Pain_NO_Gain

Stayed for a week at Guatemala for Vision camp
I was so worried at first. But, once we met each
other and played a few games, we became so
close that we hang out every single day after YEAR
volunteer together.

Travel to Hawaii
Hawaii = heaven

College Decision I went to Hawaii with my mom during
spring break and the ocean at Hawaii is
Accepted to George Washington University! more than beautiful. I fell in love with
What I most love about that school is Elliot Hawaii's refreshing air and shiny ocean.
School of International Affairs in which I am
gonna be attending. I am looking forward to
FINISH
studying international affairs, which I love to
learn! Also, it's near to the White House, so
lots of politicians visit school to give a speech.
