A) Users of the Internet can visit millions of web pages. These pages are similar to the pages
of a book but you see then on your computer screen. They give you a lot of information in
the form of a text, still images, moving images and sound.
Jumping from one page to another is called “surfing the net”.
These pages are called web pages because they are pages on the World Wide Web. The
web is a network of connected computers around the world. Special computers called
“servers” provide the information we see on the web pages. So, to visit any web page you
must always key “www” (World Wide Web) followed by a name of the page.

B) Answer the following questions in a complete way:

Usuarios de la internet pueden visitar millones de paginas wed .estas son similares a las paginas de
un libro pero,las puedes verlas en la pantalla de tu computadora. Estas te dan mucha información
en forma de texto,imagenes fijas, imagenes en movimiento y sonido.

Saltando de una pagina a la otra es llamado “navegando en la red” .

Estas paginas son llamadas paginas web porque son paginas de la red mundial.

LA web es una red de computadoras conectadas alrededor del mundo.

Computadoras especiales llamadas “servidores" aportan la información que vemos en las paginas
web.

Entonces, para visitar cualquier web siempre debes teclear “www" (red mundial), seguida por el
nombré de la página.
