Colonialism

During the reign of Queen Victoria, Britain started its conquest to conquer
the world, during this era colonialism was the main event that changed the world of
economics, trade, business and industrialism. Although colonialism was good for
Britain and the British people, from the perspective of power and money gain ( the
rise of the middle class), but it was dreadful for countries like India that faces
many challenges, wars and poverty. Indians were and still are treated like slaves
although they are very smart when they get a chance of education. They were
deprived of freedom and prosperity. For my standpoint, I see colonialism as a way
to deprive a certain group of people of their own rights and money, and to trade
their own lands, it’s a way of stealing one’s culture and traditions, to inforce you Commented [gh1]: delete

folklore on others, And strip their own opinions and ideas. For example, in
Wordsworth’s power “ Three Years She Grew In Sun and Shower”, Lucy, the girl
is an unusual specific instance of nature’s beneficial influences thus, one can
determine that India is actually Lucy. For instance in line 2, of the girl is compared Commented [gh2]: delete of

India as her own.
