Job is to design an imaginary island that would be amazing to live on! You may want, to create a theme around your isiand to help you in naming some of the Features of your newest home. Be as creative Gs possible and don’t be afraid to ask questions or think outside the box Ee What to Include \ 1) An Original Name: - = + Think of a name for your island. * This should be creative and should heip guide the theme for your isiand. * Put the name of your isiand at the top of your map, 2)Landforms: - Include JO of the following landforms on your map. * They should be represented in symbols. These symbols will be explained in your LEGEND (see #3) +. Each landform must be NAMED. If you need help, you may use your social studies textbook or (after asking permission), use Kiddie com to search up examples of landform names, : mountains rivers lakes guif desert forest swamp canyon glacier lagoon plateau volcano prairie valley Peninsula 3) Legend/Key: + List out all of the symbols on your island « What landforms did you include? * How did you represent them? * Put all of your symbols in a box * Write the word “Legend” at the top. Like any good map, your island map should be COLORFUL and NEAT. This project cannot be done in one class period and it CANNOT be burned in black ¢ white.
