TS4 Installation/Download Guideline

IMPORTANT NOTICE!
For smooth installation, disable your Antivirus and Firewall first! Enable back
when the installation is done!

Step 1
(Download the installer via Google Drive)

1. Open your Google Drive via google chrome. And go to the "Shared with me" tab, for the download links.
2. Once you open the "shared with me" tab, Find the folder title " The Sims 4 Deluxe" and double click it.
3. There are 5 files and you need to download (part 1 [5GB], part 2 [5GB], part 3 [5GB], part 4 [5GB], part 5 [3.7GB]).
Download it 1 by 1.
- I’ll suggest you download the files using laptop/pc. If possible download it all at the same day. Don’t
download using handphone and transfer/copy paste to PC, because some of my customers try to do that,
but unfortunately won’t work because the installer is broken during the copy paste to the pc.
4. The folder should be like this after done downloading:-

(Delete the rar file part 1 - 5 after done all installation. Reason: save more space on you pc/laptop)

5. All download links are secure and safe to download.

6. Proceed to the next step.

( Step 2 need to use winrar, if you dont have winrar. Go to the troubleshoot section, can download winrar there.)

 Step 2
(After done download all the 5 parts)
1. Select all the files part 1 until part 5 (downloaded files) and then right click and “Extract files” it using winrar.

2. After done extracting the files, the folder should be like this:-

(you can delete this folder after done all installation or u can keep it and use it to install again on other pc/laptop)

3. Then double click Verify BIN files before installation.bat

4. Wait a moment until done verify (Take up to 5-10 minutes to verify)

5. After done verify, Double click the setup.exe

6. It will show like this. Tick 2GB of RAM usage if your pc less than 8GB RAM, If you’re not sure whats your pc RAM
is, just tick it! And then Click Next.

7. Follow the one that I tick and click Install (Need internet connection to update the DirectX and C++)

8. The installation began. Currently my pc takes up around 40minutes to fully install the client.
It may take up to 1hour but if you experience stuck at some percent for a long time: Close the setup, and go
back to step 2, number 5. This time Don't forget to tick the limit 2GB ram usage.

9. After done installing progress. Close all the programs.

10. There will be a pop up window asking to install or update your C++ and DirectX. Just tick and click
install or IF it needs to repair, tick repair and click repair. There's 5 softwares that need to be
installed/updated/repaired. Just tick and install it all. Don't worry, the C++ and DirectX are microsoft certified
software, no harm to your computer.

11. And then launch the game by clicking the TS4 x64 at your desktop Icon Shortcut. Try run as
administrator by right click and “Run as administrator”

Viola, you have just installed the full version of The Sims 4.

 TroubleShoot Section

1. Please Run the game using the ts4 x64 shortcut, because the ts4 x86 didn’t support the
university expansion.
2. WINRAR
- IF you don’t have winrar, download from this link 1st
https://www.win-rar.com/download.html?&L=0

- Click the one of the red box. If your system is 32bit, pick the 32bit.
- Download and install
- Afer that, you can extract the 5 parts by select all the 5 parts > right click > Extract files

3. If you experience stuck at some percent for a long time during the installation. You can try:-
- Close the installation program. IF cannot close, try restarting your PC. And then try to
run back the setup.exe again.
- This time, right click the setup.exe, and then run as administrator and DON’T FOTGET to
TICK the limit installer to 2 GB of ram usage.
- Try to turn off your antivirus and firewall

4. IF you experience “Fail – Forbidden” during the download progress. You can try:-
- Open Incognito window and login your google drive on google chrome. And start the
download. (Right click the google chrome on taskbar > New incognito window)
- Try a different browser. Example Mozilla Firework / Opera / Microsoft edge. Open and
login your google drive on that browser. And start the download agai

 Common Question
1. My ts4 x64 don't have icon image, I don't like it. Solution:
- Right click ts4 x64 > Open File Location > Find ts4 x64 > Right click > Send to > Desktop
(create shortcut). You can delete the older shortcut
2. Why I don’t have Discovery University expansion. Solution:
- Launch the game using the ts4 x64. The ts4 x86 32bit of system did not support the latest
expansion.
3. This version support cc/mods? And where is my mods folder?
- Yes custom content and mods supported.
- Document > Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Mods
4. Can this game save to pendrive/external harddisk?
- Yes, but make sure your pendrive/hdd has 44gb space
