    1. Development Constructions Ltd. conducted a plate load test (PLT-01) at the site of the proposed 2x660MW Maitree Super Thermal Power Project in Rampal, Bagerhat, Bangladesh. 2. The plate load test involved applying increasing pressure up to 300 kPa to a 60x60x2.5 cm steel plate buried 0.6m below the ground surface and measuring settlement over time. 3. The maximum settlement recorded was 46.53 mm under a maximum pressure of 300 kPa applied over approximately 3,500 minutes.
