the North-East India. With a capacity of producing 5.5 Lacs MT of Urea Fertilizer from Natural Gas, the
company uses state of art technologies of M/s Haldor Topsoe, M/s Snamprogetti, M/s PDIL and M/s
Monte Edition. Its product ‘Mukta Urea’ is one of the best brands of Nitrogenous Fertilizers, widely
marketed in East and South India

Haldia Petrochemicals Ltd (HPL) is a Naphtha Cracker based project. The plant
manufactures a wide range of polyolefins and associated liquid co-products. The Naphtha
cracker capacity for the first phase is 420KTPA ethylene, with technology ABB Lummus, USA.
It is engaged in the production of polyethylene (high and low density) and polypropylene. The
complex has a capacity of generating 320 KTA of PP, 300 KTA of LLDPE & 250 KTA of
HDPE. The basic feed stock for producing ethylene & propylene is low aromatic naphtha,
which is mainly partly imported. Along with these polymers the complex produces chemicals
like benzene, cyclopentane, CBFS, hydrogenated pyrolysis gasoline and C6 raffinate.
