AFFIDAVIT
I, Shantilata Naik, aged about 42 years, D/o Bhaskar Naik resident of village : Balunga Khamar,
PO - Deulbera Colliery, PS - Talcher, Dist-Angul, Odisha do hereby solemnly affirm and state as
follows.
1. That, we are a recorded Tenant / legal heir pertaining to the lands in the following village as
detailed below :

Beside the above, I have no other land either recorded in our names or the names of my
family members of Shantilata Naik, D/o Bhaskar naik.
2. That, out of the above total holding of my land share area of Ac. 0.830 has already been
acquired in the Balunga, Balunga Khamar under acquisition by MCL Ltd. Share area of Ac.
0.600 is not acquired in village Balunga Khamar out of which homestead land is Ac. 0.160.
3. That, against the acquisition of aforesaid land, the name of Shantilata Naik, D/o Bhaskar Naik
has been nominated for employment as rehabilitation benefit as per the norms of the state
government.
4. That, we are fully aware of the fact, that nominee who is already sponsored and provided
with employment by MCL LTD., such employment is giving after taking into consideration
the expected future acquisition of the land and assets there on in villages under acquisition
and we undertake solemnly that no further employment or other rehabilitation facilities
other than resettlement will be claimed by any of our successors / family members or agent
or attorney for further acquisition of our land in village under acquisition and any other
village already notified for acquisition for MCL Projects.
5. I shall only retain the right to claim resettlement facilities but not employment or other
rehabilitation facilities as per prevailing state govt. / CIL norms against our acquired
homestead land.
6. That, I also solemnly undertake not to sale or transfer any of the balance land assets there
on held by us in the village under acquisition.
7. That, I also solemnly undertake that there is no land recorded in our name do not possess
any share of land other than th aforesaid land in any village of the state Govt. of Odisha.
8. That, I will not claim any R&R benefit employment in future and will not obstruct the mining
activities.
9. That, handover of litigation free land & structure before joining MCL.
10. That, the following are my family members :- (Son, Daughter, Grand Son & Grand Daughter)
11. That, the facts stated above are true to best of our knowledge and belief. If it is proved to the
false afterward, MCL management may take disciplinary action as deemed fit against my nominee
offered employment in MCL.
