COVID -19 WARRIOS: MEET THE FEMALE HEROES

Women are always being pillar of society

upon whom whole society look for strength,
courage, hope, stability and peace. While this
Covid-19 outbreak also women act as a
warrior and put unconditional efforts to
control the situation. Women are playing the
role of saviour in form of different faces in
different ways.
The intelligence, leadership, and bravery
shown by PM of New Zealand Jacinda Ardan
is true example of how one should deal with
this crisis. She has dealt with coronavirus
pandemic, terrorist attack, deadly volcanic
eruption in New Zealand so gracefully all
while holding her 3 month baby.
At this time of Public Health Emergency all
the generations are doing so selfless work that
it is commendable. Old generation who are
more prone to this pandemic are also fighting.
Like India’s President wife Sunita Kovind
stitches face masks at Shakti haat which are
distributed at shelter home of Delhi Urban
Shelter Improvement Board. Mid – age ladies
are also contributing their level best like
housewives who are never off duty even the
whole nation is under lockdown. They are
adjusting the household things which are very
important in this lockdown time. Many young
nurses, doctors and police become an idol for
everyone. Tweens are also trying to spread
awareness by making posters of social
message.
In fact there are many more female warriors
who are showing extreme level of courage
even at the point of risking their life. Like
many pregnant women come in frontline to
fight with this crisis. A pregnant nurse Roopa
in Karnataka is still working with full
dedication. A 8 month pregnant lady Minal
Dakhave Bhosale make test kit which delivers
result of coronavirus to 2.5 hrs from prevalent
practice of eight hrs. An IAS officer Srijana
Gummalla has refused 6 month maternity
leave and joins work with month old baby
amid coronavirus crisis.
In this critical situation even the designation,
background and qualification doesn’t matter.
Even the lowest level of designation also
contributing like Anganwadi workers in the
villages. They are the ones who are surveying
that who are suffering from coronavirus and
has helped them to reach hospital and get
proper treatment.
These all are female warriors in one or the
other way, even those also who are not
mentioned. We should pay gratitude towards
them and should not forget their sacrifices in
this emergency.
“Women are reservoir of courage and this
courage will make one day coronavirus
discourage.”
