Period 4 11/28/16 The Grand Portage reservation is located on the border of Canada. It is on the south and east of Lake Superior. The word reservation means an area of land set aside for living by american indians. This tribe is an Ojibwe The Grand Portage symbol tribe. The symbol has four quadrant parts. The north quadrant is a turtle. The east quadrant is a arrow. The south quadrant is a deer and is meaningful because that is one of their main foods. The west quadrant is a pipe and it is meaningful because it honors traditions. The four quadrants mean north, east, south, and west.
