Cactus
With 3.75 mm hook, ch 19

Row 1: hdc in 2nd ch from hook, hdc in next 17 sts, turn (18 total sts)

Row 2-13: working in BLO, ch 1, hdc in each st across, turn (18 total sts)

Finish off and cut a 12 inch yarn tail. Roll finished crochet piece into a cylinder
so that row 1 and row 13 are touching each other. Using the yarn tail and a yarn
needle weave in and out of the stitches in row 1 and the BLO of row 13 joining
the two rows together. Now weave in and out of the side loops of one of the
ends of the cylinder and pull yarn to cinch it closed. Stuff cactus with fiberfill
stuffing. Weave in and out of the side loops of the open end of the cactus to
close it up.

Place finished cactus in a 2 inch terra cotta pot. Optional: cut a mustache out of
black felt, page 5 has some options that you can print and cut out. With a hot
glue gun, glue on mustache and / or 8 mm wiggle eyes.
