JOINT CSIR-UGC NET JUNE-2020

PUBLIC NOTICE
(16 March 2020)
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been established by Ministry of Human Resource
Development (MHRD) as an independent/autonomous, self-reliant and self-sustained
premier testing organization. The conduct of the Joint CSIR- UGC NET Examination has
been entrusted to the NTA by CSIR, Government of India. Only bonafide Indian Citizens are
eligible for the test. CSIR-UGC NET Fellowship is tenable in India.
The NTA will conduct the next Joint CSIR-UGC NET for Junior Research Fellowship and
eligibility for Lectureship (LS)/ Assistant Professor on 21 June 2020 for following
subjects:
1. Life Sciences
2. Physical Sciences
3. Chemical Sciences
4. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences
5. Mathematical Sciences
The Test will be conducted in two different shifts as given below:

Shift Timing Duration

*Shift – 1 (Morning)
09:30 am to 12:30 pm (IST)
03 hours
*Shift – 2 (Afternoon) (180 Minutes)
02:30 pm to 05:30 pm (IST)
*Subject(s) in a shift will be decided based on number of students.

The Test will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode only.
The candidates who desire to appear in the Test may see the details in the Information
Bulletin for Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2020, which is available on the websites:
www.nta.ac.in, and csirnet.nta.nic.in w.e.f. 16 March 2020.

The eligible candidates may apply online between 16 March 2020 -15 April 2020 (upto
11.50 pm). The Application Fees can be paid up to 16 April 2020 (upto 11.50 pm).
