World health organization (WHO) expressed its concern at the phenomenon of childhood
obesity that continues to increase and is already at the danger level. There have been many
studies on how to deal with obesity in children. The role of parents is very important to pay
attention to their child's health by knowing what the signs, factors, and ways to deal with obesity
in children. There are three examples of handling obesity in children that are considered the most
effective: behavioral therapy, effective parenting, and healthy programs.
The healthy program consists of educational programs, healthy eating patterns, and sports
programs. This program educates children about the limits on consumption of sugar, salt to fat.
The dangers of snacks that are not safe for consumption and being overweight have an impact on
health.
These three techniques or methods imply that providing education, therapy, and
familiarizing children with a healthy lifestyle can build a healthy environment and prevent
overweight in children. Cases of obesity that continues to increase can be handled with the
awareness of every parent about the importance of building a healthy environment and lifestyle
and instilling the danger of excessive sugar consumption in children.
