Important Circular for Special extension to the Students whose validity

of enrolment number has expired
Gujarat Technological University has decided to provide one more that is last chance to
students whose all the terms have been granted and still have backlogs in the
components namely E, M, V and I after the expiry of their enrolment number as per
notification number: 01/2012, so that they become eligible to appear at Summer 2020
examinations.

Following guidelines are made for implementing this additional opportunity.

1. The students who’s all the terms are granted and still have backlogs will be given
1 more chance that is Summer 2020 examination only for clearing the remaining
subjects for all the courses and for all the components (ie E/I/M/V). This chance
will be the last chance and no more attempts will be provided to them by GTU,
in whatsoever case.
2. Such students having backlogs in the subject(s) will give examination as per the
syllabus they have studied. No equivalent subject will be defined for the same.
3. There will be no registration. All the eligible students’ exam form will be released
by the GTU and they have to contact respective colleges to fill the exam form.
4. Rs 5000 (Five thousand only) as fees for this special extension will be paid by
each student who wants to appear at Summer 2020 examination. The student will
pay this amount of Rs 5000 along with the examination fees.
5. No students whose validity of the enrolment number has not yet expired as per
Notification No. 1/2012 can cite this special extension arrangement as a
precedence and ask for extension whenever it is due to him/her, in future.
6. Affiliated institutes will have to make all arrangements to communicate this
special extension arrangement to all such students to clear their backlogs.
7. No further special extension is given to the students who’s all terms are not
granted during the validity of their enrolment number.
8. All other rules like Cancellation of enrollment and UFM will applicable as per
university rules.
