Jhonny depp and amber heard are two well known actors in the Hollywood. They started
dating in 2012 and finally tied the knot in 2015, however this happy relationship of theirs
came to an end just 15 months later in May 2016, when Heard pleaded “irreconcilable
differences” and everything was history. Until December 2018 when The Washington Post
published an OP-ED from Heard, titled “I Spoke Up Against Sexual Violence - And Faced Our
Culture’s Wrath. That Has to Change”, She never mentioned Depp by name but many
believed that she was speaking of her former husband when she mentioned death threats
and the hit her career took in the wake of the divorce and allegations.
Not only the readers of the Washington post felt that way, Depp’s legal team filed a
defamation suit against his ex-wife that the accusations filed were categorically false and
defamed the highly esteemed actor supposedly costing him his role (which he later got
back) in the Pirates Of The Caribbean franchise. Earlier Heard had succeeded in getting a
restraining order against Depp before getting divorced, on account of multiple visible
bruises on Heard’s faced allegedly caused by Jhonny Depp which already had painted a
picture that Depp was the main aggressor and Heard was a victim of Domestic Violence. The
defamation suit later on targeted this accusation saying she had gone to the court with
“painted-on -bruises”.
All of the voices supporting Heard’s story The Daily Beast, The Mary Sue, HuffPost went
silent when an alleged voice recording of the couple’s therapy session went viral online.
These recordings suggested that Depp was not the only aggressor, both of them mutually
agreed and apologised for the violent act towards each other. This sent a shockwave to
many supporters of Heard and all questioned as to how she could become an ambassador
against domestic violence and #MeToo movement when she was in as much wrong as was
Depp, maybe more.
This no way exonerated Depp but only showed that it is not wise to always label the man as
the aggressor, women could be the aggressor as much as a man could be.

August 2015, when a Facebook post got viral which featured a young man on a motorcycle
claimed to be an eve-teaser who had harassed this girl, Jasleen Kaur. The event as described
by the girl was that she was crossing the red light when the accused Saravjeet Singh tried to
jump the red light, breaking out an argument which led to this man harassing her and saying
obscene things. The girl then took his picture and called him out on the internet with his
photo and bike number. He was soon arrested and was labelled by the great Indian media as
this predator who harasses women on road in public places. He got out on bail and was then
subjected to many reporters who had already convicted him and were asking for his apology
for an act he had ALLEGEDLY committed. The man lost his job and complete respect and
dignity in the society. While, Jasleen kaur to protect her image went abroad for higher
studies. Then the trial began which was based on a complete lie, it was surprising that the
poor victim who was harassed mid road in front of so many people missed not one or two
but all 13 of the court hearings pleading that she was abroad studying.
Finally, after 4 years of struggle Saravjeet was now acquitted on all charges and it was found
that he had never harassed Ms. Jasleen Kaur. But the sad reality is that he was already a
demon an eve-teaser, according to dear Indian media this is evident from the fact that in
2015 every news channel was reporting this issue and was leaving no deficit in demonizing
the man and constantly inviting Jasleen Kaur for interviews and openly calling him a
‘pervert’, and after the court gave its verdict hardly 2 or 3 news channels covered the issue .
This is one of the main problems of pseudo-feminism that you blame the man without even
hearing his view point.
Saravjeet is not going to get his old life and image back even if he presses charges for
defamation this man lost the dream life he had or could have all because of this dumb
attention seeking misandrist crap.
