Generally, there are 2 main ingredients for makeup brushes: natural and synthetic aliases.

Both have
advantages and disadvantages of each. The results obtained are also different. Good or bad, depending
on the final result you want and the makeup products used. Read first the difference between brushes
from natural and artificial strands, then maximize their use.

BRUSH FROM NATURAL INGREDIENTS

What is meant by natural ingredients here are materials for brush strands obtained from animal hair,
such as weasels, goats, and squirrels. This makeup brush from animal hair usually feels very smooth, but
it doesn't rule out the possibility to fall out slowly. With this type of brush, makeup products will usually
stick more. The reason? The structure of animal hair is similar to the structure of human hair. There are
still very small pores in each strand. These pores will "bind" powder or liquid when the brush is used.
Pigments from products will adhere perfectly to the skin.

However, it is possible that you who are quite sensitive to animal hair will experience an allergic reaction
when using this brush on the skin. The price is generally more expensive than synthetic bristle brushes.
This type of brush is more leverage if used with powder-shaped makeup products, such as eyeshadow,
finishing or setting powder, bronzer, to the blusher.

BRUSH OF SYNTHETIC MATERIALS

To reduce the use of animal hair, some brush manufacturers create artificial fur that is no less good.
Usually brushes with synthetic bristles are made of nylon, taklon, or polyester fiber. Sometimes, this
synthetic fur is colored and heated so that the level of refinement is getting closer to animal hair. With
this type of brush, you will be more efficient in use because the material is durable and not easily
damaged. This brush is also easier to clean than brushes from animal hair.

Because it has no pores, a brush with synthetic bristles does not absorb makeup products so it is good to
use especially for products that have a liquid and creamy texture. The results of its use are more natural
and evenly distributed. Maximize the use of this type of brush in liquid-shaped makeup products, such
as foundation, cream blush, or gel eyeliner.
