Introduction

The XPossible 24 Port L2+ Fast Ethernet switch is a cost-effective high performance management switch that supports the ACL (Access Control
List), L2/L2+L3/L3+L4 packet control and remote management functions by SNMP, HTTP and Telnet operations. In addition, it also supports
other functions for L2 switch management. For instance the 802.1Q VLAN, 802.1x Port Security, Rate Control, Port Configuration, Port Mirroring,
Port Statistics and QoS function. For easy connection, Auto-MDIX function is also supported for every port of the switch.

Overview

Designed to meet the evolving needs of the hotel’s guest network, the 24 Port L2+ Fast Ethernet Switch has a VLAN tag range of 4096 which
allows it to support large hotels. Taking into account that a hotel’s guest network works similarly to a public network, we have integrated robust
features to protect the privacy and security of the guest’s PC, supporting internet services roaming when guests moves from 1 AP to another and
the uplink to the switch. In conjunction with the XPossible Connect’s internet management gateway, the switch supports guest room and VLAN
mapping. With XPossible Connect’s front office interface, hotels can automatically identify guests and provide free or chargeable internet to
hotel guests spontaneously. In addition, XPossible’s Network Operations Center(NOC) will monitor this switch and enable an email/SMS alert in
the case of an equipment failure.
