Restore factory settings
Use the Restore defaults menu to restore factory settings.

1. Press OK.
2. Press the down arrow to select Service, and then press OK.
3. Press the down arrow to select Restore defaults, and then press OK.

You can also restore factory defaults by using the Embedded Web Server (EWS).

1. Print a configuration page, and locate the IP address of the printer.

o If you are using IPv4, the IP address contains only digits. It has this format:
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
o If you are using IPv6, the IP address is a hexadecimal combination of characters
and digits. It has this format: xxxx::xxx:xxxx:xxxx:xxxx
2. Type the IP address into the address line of a Web browser to open the printer EWS.
3. On the Networking tab, select Settings under Security in the left-hand menu list.
4. Select the Restore Defaults tab.

1. From the Home screen on the printer control panel, touch the Setup button / .
2. Open the Service menu.
3. Select the Restore Defaults option, and then touch the OK button. The printer
automatically restarts.
