History
III. gimnazija, Split was founded on September 17, 1992
Firstly the school was known as MIOC
MIOC was a part of the construction school center „Ćiro Gamulin”
In September 1986. the MIOC became independent and became four-year
school based in Tesla street
since 1993. the official name of school has been III. gimnazija, Split

Vision and mission statements

Our mission is to educate and develop the skills and knowledge that are
needed for our students to become responsible young people who
constantly develop a logical way of thinking, self-discipline, working habits
and tolerance towards the different.
The mission is to contribute to the development of the society by educating
students with modern methods, means and forms of work, in a pleasant
working atmosphere and communicating between students and teachers
with mutual respect.
To enable students to learn independently, think and develop their own
attitudes, criticism, and self-criticism.
