INTRODUCTION

1.1 Internship Description

Nowadays each country in the world was developing very fast from day to day on both
modern equipment and standard technology. Beside of both things, economy of globalization
also plays as an important role in those countries. Economics system was growth because of
financial sector that it has to process smoothly in the financial market. In the financial sector,
there are banks and other financial institutions that work together to achieve economic goal in a
state. At meanwhile, investment could be growth if financial system performs well in the
financial market. Moreover, banks and other financial institution are the place which could be
recycled the money in the economy through general local people and foreigners who consume
many services that provide them.
In Cambodia, the economics is depend on various sectors especially agriculture sector
that makes the economy system growth rapidly. Financial institution is the place that general
people can use its services such as deposit, saving, transfer and others. Among those financial
organizations, there are microfinance institutions that are processing and they play a main role
after banks sector. Sathapana Limited is one of microfinance that was established over ten years
and it has many branches both capital and countryside.
After having a short summary proposal, internees have asked the permission from the
branch manager of Sathapana Limited at Toul Kork Branch for great chance to do an internship
report in his institution. Before internees start working as the volunteer of Credit Agents
assistant, internees was asked many questions and our research objective by branch manager and
also about responsibilities in the work approval. Internees are claiming with internees’ best
commitment and effort to complete this internship to be our giant achievement for our bachelor
degree.

Internees’ internship group assigned to work at Sathapana Limited at Toul Kork Branch
which was held on May 01, 2011. Just only 2 years of business life, Sathapana Limited at Toul
Kork Branch has upgraded its enormous achievement as lone of the good branch in product and
service performance amount more than 100 branches operate in Cambodia. The product and
services in this micro finance has
