The Uncle John’s ghost story

My uncle John used to tell us lot of ghost stories. And here one of them. One day, in a Halloween

night, the uncle john was drinking some beers in a pub of the town, when he saw his friend Patrick

who was passing by. It was very late and Patrick decided to get the shorter way to go home, but he

had to walk across the graveyard of the city, it was situated behind the cathedral. It was a very ugly

and scaring place. It was a cold and dark night.

The uncle John started walking very carefully behind Patrick, he wanted to play him a prank and scare

him. So he got hidden in a grave and started calling Patrick with a very ghostly voice. “Patrick are you

here?”, “Patrick I’m a ghost and I’m here for you”, “I came from the world of the dead”.

When Patrick heard the voice he suddenly stopped and started shaking, he looked back but he could

not see anything. Then the voice started calling his name, “Patrick, Patrick”, “are you here?” Patrick

stopped walking but this time he could not look back. He got stuck!

The Uncle John came out from the grave and started laughing very noisy. But Patrick was still in

shock. John got close to Patrick and said “it’s me John, your friend”. Patrick turned his head towards

John, when John looked at him he saw that Patrick´s eyes were red and brilliant like fire, he had two

big devil horns and two sharply fangs in his mouth. The Uncle John suddenly fainted.

The next morning the Uncle John woke up and looked out the window, and saw his friend Patrick on

his way to work. Patrick looked at the window and with a big smile on his face said “John did you like

my devil costume?”
