The circulatory system

Our cardiovascular system, is made up of blood vessels,


heart, blood. The circulatory system.
The circulatory system delivers needed subtances to cells,
and helps regulate body temperature.
In adition blood contain cells that fight disease.

Remove wates
Regulates body temperature
Fight disease

The Heart: without our heart the blood will not go through
your body.

The heart structure: The heart has a right side and left side
that are completely separated by a wall of tissue called
septum.
How the heart Works: Valves separate the atria from the
ventricles. A valve is a flap of tissue that prevents blood
from flowing backward.

The parts of the blood vessels are:


Arteries: are thick walled muscular vessels.
Arteries carry blood away from the heart.

Capillaries: blood flows from arteries into capillaries.


The thin capillary walls are made of a single layer of
epitelial cells.

Veins: Capillaries merge and form larger vessels called


Veins.

What does blood contains

The blood contains a varierity of cell for example: red


blood cells, white blood cells ect.
