5. Explain the type of movement that the following joints allow you to do:
a. Hinge Joint: Is a long one axis
b. Gliding Joint: in any direction along the plane of the joint.
c. Ball-and-socket-joint: This joint move in rotation
d. Pivot Joint: A pivot joint allows movement in one plane, such as rotation about an axis.
8. What can people do to help keep their bones healthy and strong?
Potassium, vitamin K and magnesium help body absorb and use calcium. Get these important nutrients
by eating a variety of healthy foods like vegetables and fruit, legumes (beans, peas, lentils), nuts,
seeds, whole grains and fish.
9. What is osteoporosis?
Osteoporosis is a disease in which bone weakening increases the risk of a broken bone.
