Ingredients
1 teaspoon organic turmeric powder
1 teaspoon raw, organic honey
1 tablespoon organic plain (unflavored) yogurt or kefir
Instructions
1. In a small glass bowl, combine turmeric, honey and yogurt. Stir to combine.
2. Apply mask to clean face. Let mask sit for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and a
washcloth.
3. Moisturize as normal.
Directions:
Use about 1/4 – 1/2 of a ripe avocado. Mash it until it’s cream and
blend it together with a few tablespoons of yogurt, and a
tablespoon (or so) of honey.
Before you apply your face mask, you will want to have some
freshly washed skin!Your everyday face wash will work just
fine. Apply a thick layer of the face mask evenly across your skin
avoiding your direct eye area.
Ingredients:
3 Tablespoons baking soda
1 teaspoon honey
1 teaspoon Vitamin E oil
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
3 to 4 teaspoons milk
Mix all the ingredients together in a small container and apply to face (this is enough
for one thickly-applied face mask.) Gently work the mixture into your skin in a
circular motion, then allow the mask to dry for 10 to 15 minutes. Rinse off with water,
again using a circular motion for more exfoliating action.
The baking soda in this recipe provides the exfoliation as it gently scrubs away
dead skin.
The honey naturally hydrates the skin and is rich in antioxidants and has anti-
microbial properties.
Vitamin E is an antioxidant that protects and repairs your skin.
Cinnamon has a warming effect on the skin which brings fresh, oxygen-rich
blood to the surface to kill bacteria and detoxify the skin and gives a healthy
rosy glow.
Directions
1. In a bowl, add all your ingredients and mix them up using a spoon till
you get a creamy mixture.
2. Now using clean fingers tips, scoop up the mixture and apply it all over
your face, avoiding the area around your eyes and mouth.
3. Let the face mask sit for about 5 minutes then rinse off using warm
water.
4. Once all the mask is off, splash your face with cold water. Moisturize if
necessary but your face will feel moisturized, soft and supple.
