Definition of Terms
Modules: these are sets of lessons planned to be taught at a given time. One course may be
composed of 3 several modules considering the 3 grading periods to cope up.
Step 1: Go over the content of your syllabus from the beginning to end.
Approximate the total number of topics that can capture the essence of the learning
outcomes that you have stated in your course objectives. Preferably 18 to 20 of these
will be enough considering the number of topics you desire to discuss.
Step 2: Create a Table of Contents containing the topics and a short description about its
contents.
Step 3: You may now start making the module using the following format:
Title
Introduction
Objectives
Lesson Proper
Assessment
Key Points to Remember or Lecturette. Include only around 2 pages. Otherwise, put the
lessons in the attachments.
Assignments (to deeply enhance their knowledge about the present lesson as well as
make them search in advance for next week’s lesson.
Step 4: Having made the specific lessons on a weekly basis, check whether or not the course
objectives were all answered.
You may now organize your attachments followed by a list of references at the last end.
(Optional) you may connect the parts by giving a conversational tone in between them.
You are now ready for the final editing of your module.
