We consider from fig (2) and at 60 rpm that the addition of (30g) of Fecl3 led to an increase in

turbidity much more than alum coagulant with the same addition. Whereas Fecl3 coagulant
increased the turbidity from 92NTU to 112NTU, alum coagulant increased the turbidity from
98NTU to 108NTU. This case was reversed at 55rpm, that is the alum coagulant increased the
turbidity much more than Fecl3 coagulant at the addition of (30g) from both coagulants.
Whereas the alum coagulant increased the turbidity from 86NTU to 94NTU, Fecl3 coagulant
increased the turbidity from 75NTU to 78NTU.

At 60, 55 and 45rpm and by using alum coagulant, the efficiency of turbidity removal was
52.5%, 60.5% and 70% respectively. and by using Fecl3 at the same velocity mixing, the
efficiency of turbidity removal was 56%, 69% and 67.5% respectively.
