DYE REMOVAL FROM WASTEWATER BY

ADSORPTION ON 'WASTE' Fe(III)/Cr(III) HYDROXIDE

The journal is about removal of dye from wastewater. Adsorption is broadly used in this
kind of method. In journal they conclude in this method is expected to be economical,
adsorption became one of the most effective methods to remove dye from textile
wastewater. The main purpose of this journal is to remove dye from wastewater using a
hydroxide. Dyeing industry is one of the largest water consuming industries. Despite the
frequent use of adsorption in wastewater treatment systems, commercially available
activated carbon is not cost-effective in a developing country like India.so they used
iron/chromium hydroxide. Batch mode adsorption experiments are carried out.
