2. Hazards, safety and transport limitations
2.1. Hazards
We would like to draw your attention to the following hazards caused by handling the battery
and its accessories:

Danger of crushing fingers and feet when loading and unloading

and while handling pallets and/or stowing and
unstowing of sea freight containers!

Danger of falling parts! Never stand beneath suspended or

lifted loads!

Danger of slipping and tripping while loading and unloading!

Danger of electrolyte emerging from the IBCs, which causes

danger of chemical burns and eye injuries!

Danger of cuts, especially during packaging

and unpacking the CellCube and its accessories

FB10/20/30 transports are generally hazardous goods transports (due to the vanadium
electrolyte). This applies to transport on roads, ships and aircraft.
(Transport of the CellCube battery by rail is not permitted.)
It is only permissible to transport the electrolyte in special containers, so-called UN-IBC
containers of class II (UN 31HA1/Y/...). Transport of the electrolyte within the battery is not
permitted.

The safety data sheet rates possible hazards caused by the vanadium electrolyte
as follows (the following is an example and short description):

2.2. Transport safety
For transport, the respective national and international regulations, standards and laws (in
their currently valid version) apply and are to be adhered to by all persons involved.
To increase safety, be especially aware of the hazards and notes listed in this document (see
appendix)!
Select a qualified carrier for the transport.
Ensure that the truck and driver have the necessary equipment and expertise for road
transport according to ADR. The equipment specified by the ADR is
to be checked prior to any journey with the truck (ADR check list).
The persons tasked with loading and unloading must wear protective clothing and safety
shoes.
All transport means (truck, container) must be in perfect condition and comply with all
applicable laws and standards.
Prior to departure of the truck, ensure that the load is properly secured and document this
check (loading check list, photos). For sea freight, adhere to the respective legal local and
international regulations.

2.3. Transport limitations & special regulations

 The CellCube can be lifted on its forklift loops by means of a forklift truck (e.g. 12t,
depending on the centre of gravity and version) or by means of a suitable crane on
the screw-fitted handle blocks (attachment eyes).
 Check the secure fit of the screw-fitted handle blocks prior to each lifting and securing
process!
 When lifting the CellCube by means of a crane, point the handle block toward the top!
 When strapping down the CellCube, e.g. on a truck, point the handle block toward the
bottom!
 The installed or supplied round slings are only intended for lifting purposes and must
not be used for strapping down the CellCube!
 Attach the round slings on the handle blocks for each lifting process.
 When strapping down the CellCube, remove the round slings from the handle blocks
and securely add them to or package them together with the CellCube.
 Check the round slings for their license, suitability and perfect condition prior to each
lifting process. Only use round slings that comply with the currently valid standard.
 When handling the CellCube (with a crane, forklift truck or truck) ensure that
the surface remains undamaged.
 The CellCube is not suitable for transport by rail.
 During transport, do not exceed or go below the minimum & maximum external
temperature for the individual items below. If you expect to exceed or go below this
temperature, contact CellStrom GmbH prior to transport (special permission by
Cellstrom GmbH after testing of the temperature profile required!).
CellCube FB 10/20/30: -20 to 55°C
IBC (vanadium electrolyte solution) -20 to 50°C
 Do not stack other packing pieces on any packing piece.
(Never stack filled IBCs!)

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 11 of 53
 Exclusively secure the CellCube for transport by means of the handle blocks on its
sides using suitable cords or belts and anti-slip mats.
 Only transport the CellCube in a closed truck (canvas truck) or in a container (for sea
freight), otherwise use a tarpaulin to cover the secured CellCube for transport or
when storing it outside.
 Attention: The centre of gravity of the CellCube varies depending on the version!

Non-adherence to these limitations may cause damage to the CellCube or other damage!

3. Transported goods
The vanadium redox flow battery FB10/20/30 (CellCube) consists of the following
components / packing items:

1. 1x CellCube FB10/20/30
(depending on the order with air conditioning equipped as an option)
2. 2x to 7x 1000l container (UN-IBC) with vanadium electrolyte solution
(Caution: Hazardous material! UN3264, No.8 / II,
see safety data sheet in the appendix)
(The number of IBCs depends on the CellCube version.)
3. 1x pallet with 2 bags of binding agent (10kg / bag)
(safety data sheets in the appendix)
4. Spare parts and / or tools (depending on the service agreement or
conditions)

4. Appropriate packaging for transport

The individual packing items are pre-packaged and marked (for collection by truck).
The expert company tasked with sea-freight of the CellCube is responsible for
providing sea-worthy packaging and stowing (CellCube tightly screwed onto the
wooden transport skid with the correct dimensions, tightly wrapped in film and all
loaded units sufficiently secured).

4.1. CellCube FB 10/20/30

The battery (CellCube) is closed and equipped with a bracket edge protection profile
on all perpendicular corners (C-profile min. 75x75x10mm or 98x98x50x50 mm). The
entire CellCube is wrapped in a wrapping film (CST No. 001148).

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 12 of 53
4 handle blocks (attachment eyes) are attached to the CellCube. Only use the
handle blocks (attachment eyes, RUD attachment eye "thread" VL.BG.20.02 x 70, M20,
CST No. 003335) to lift the CellCube by means of a crane and strap it down to secure
it.
(Attention: When lifting the CellCube by means of a crane, point the handle block
toward the top! When strapping down the CellCube, e.g. on a truck, point the handle
block toward the bottom!) Check the secure fit of the handle blocks prior to each
lifting & securing process! Although the system (IP 54) is protected against the
weather (e.g. rain or snow), road transport of the CellCube must always be carried
out by means of a closed canvas truck or the CellCube must be covered with a
tarpaulin after being secured to the truck (the same applies to sea freight if the
system is not stowed in a container or completely wrapped).

If the CellCube has to be stored temporarily and the CellCube cannot be stored
inside, use a tarpaulin to protect the battery.
To protect the CellCube surface, a wooden beam is installed between the openings
for the forks of the forklift.

Marking on the exterior packaging (wrapping film) of the CellCube:

1. Delivery address with packing piece numbering (on all sides)
2. Transport information TH03 (on both longitudinal sides of each piece)
3. "Caution, fragile" symbol (on all sides)
4. "Observe transport position" symbol (on all sides)
5. "Do not stack" symbol (on all sides)
6. Transport information for stowing in containers (optional for sea freight, on both
longitudinal sides of each piece)

Packaged CellCube ready for pick-up (with edge protection and marking)

Recommendation for seaworthy packaging:

We recommend fastening (screw-fitting) the CellCube onto a wooden skid on its
own via its adjustable feet by means of a transport bracket, and shrink-wrapping the
battery into an airtight aluminium composite film, adding a sufficient quantity of
desiccant for the duration of the sea freight and finally stowing and securing the
wooden skid in a sea freight container. Have a suitable packaging and stowing
company protect, package and stow the CellCube for sea freight, keeping in mind
sufficient protection from salty and damp air.

Example of seaworthy pre-packaging of the CellCube on a wooden transport skid for stowing in a container

When packaging the CellCube for sea freight, ensure that the round slings are
packaged in an easily reached place, as they are required for the next lifting
process.

4.2. Vanadium electrolyte solution

Fill the vanadium electrolyte solution (VEL) (2000L to 6500L) into suitable
hazardous material IBCs (with UN 31/HA1/Y/... marking) and mark the containers
(see photo). The IBC acts as transport packaging. During this process, note that the
substance is a hazardous material (hazardous material: class 8, UN number 3264,
label 8, packing group II, transport category 2, tunnel restriction code E, see safety
data sheet) so all valid legal regulations (for road, sea and air transport) must be
observed. Do not stack the IBCs and only transport them by means of a suitable
forklift truck (Attention: weight per IBC ~1,450 kg; the centre of gravity may change
due to the fluid shifting! The density of the medium is approx. 1.35kg/dm³) (Also
ensure that the forklift truck driver is wearing personal protective equipment!)

Attention: Above all, ensure that the IBCs are undamaged! Cautious handling of
the IBCs is required for safety purposes.
Check the IBCs for damage and their expiration date (validity / service life / license)
prior to each transport.
Only transport licensed, undamaged and suitably marked IBCs! Check all openings
and their seals to ensure there is no damage or leakage. The IBC lids are secured
with cable ties to prevent unintended opening.

4.3. Binding agent

The two bags of binding agent are secured on a pallet, wrapped in wrapping film
and marked. They are not a hazardous material.

6. Transport means

6.1. Crane requirements

For lifting the CellCube FB10-100 / loading and unloading, a suitable crane with a
recommended load bearing capacity of 30t is required (attention: this depends on
local conditions and the outreach / load diagram). Ensure that the crane used is
equipped with a suitable load attachment and chains. Only crane drivers with
suitable training are permitted to lift the CellCube.

Ensure that the crane can be expanded enough to reach a minimum suspension
height (clear height) of >~4m. However, after the handle blocks have been fastened
to the sides of the CellCube, the minimum total chain length must be 8m
(corresponds to a minimum chain length of ~6m and an additional harness length of
2m) to avoid damaging the corners of the CellCube!

Chain
(~6m)

Belt
(~2m)

Example of crane Crane with suitable chain length and

harnesses for the CellCube

6.2. Forklift requirements for the CellCube

The CellCube FB 10/20/30 can also be loaded onto and unloaded from a truck by
means of a forklift. For loading and unloading, a forklift truck with a minimum load-
bearing capacity of e.g. 10 t is required (adapt to local conditions, versions and
regulations). Only lift the CellCube on its longitudinal side. Ensure that the forks do
not touch the panels (lateral parts) of the CellCube during the lifting process, as the
CellCube may otherwise be damaged! Observe the centre of gravity of the
respective CellCube version!

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 22 of 53
6.3. Crane fork requirements (optional)
A crane fork is required if no suitable forklift truck is available to load and unload the
IBCs by means of a crane. Ensure that the crane fork has a minimum load-bearing
capacity of 2t.

6.4. Roller transport system requirements

A roller transport system is required for in-company transport.
However, only transport an empty CellCube via the roller system. (Ensure that the
CellCube is not filled with electrolyte!) Ensure that the entire roller transport system
with its heavy-duty rollers can safely bear the weight of the CellCube.

Ensure that the support of the roller transport system consists of anti-slip material
and/or material that can prevent the CellCube from slipping or being raised off the
surface. Only use the roller system to transport the CellCube on a flat, level surface.
The roller system must be controllable on at least one side. Ensure that the persons
tasked with the transport work wear suitable protective equipment.

6.5. Truck requirements

Depending on the transport specifications, the truck must have at least 9m of free
loading space for the goods to be loaded. We recommend a canvas trailer with a
sliding roof and a bed of ≥13m length and a permissible loading capacity of approx.
24t (depending on the version, actual scope of delivery, conditions and local
regulations). The truck intended for transport must be a canvas truck. Ensure that it
is possible to remove the canvas. Also ensure that any roof or side rods can be
removed / displaced for loading and unloading. It should also be possible to load the
truck from the rear. We recommend using a truck which can be expanded in the rear
for loading.

Ensure that the truck is equipped with a sufficient quantity of suitable fastening belts.
(see chapter 9, load securing and/or any applicable local laws/regulations and
directives). Furthermore, ensure that the truck is equipped for hazardous goods
transport and has all accessories and equipment required for this purpose (see
appendix and local legal regulations). Ensure that the truck driver has a valid ADR
license with appropriate training and that the condition of the vehicle complies with
traffic regulations. Ensure that the truck is equipped with suitable and sufficient
fastening points for belts for load securing purposes. (We recommend variable
attachment points or perforated rails)

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 23 of 53
6.6. Forklift requirements for the IBCs
Ensure that the forklift is designed for the specified IBC weight (Attention: weight per
IBC ~1,450 kg; the centre of gravity may change due to the fluid shifting!). The
forklift must be able to lift a minimum of 1500 kg in case of the spacing between
centres of gravity relevant for this purpose. (We recommend a forklift with a
minimum lifting weight of approx. 2t - 2.5t for the primary IBC centre of gravity.)
(Also ensure that the forklift driver is wearing personal protective equipment and has
the required local authorisation!)

6.7. Sea freight container requirements

The sea freight container must be a 40 foot HC container.

Example: Lifting the battery with a crane

If no forklift truck is available for loading and unloading the IBCs, a

suitable crane fork can be used together with the crane to load the
IBCs. (with a pallet belt for fastening)

Never lift the IBC on the protective frame or pallet with the lifting
harnesses hooked in. (Consequence: Damage to the IBC) Ensure
that the protective frame and pallet are not damaged!

Example of crane fork

Prior to each transport and lifting process, attach the handle blocks on the battery
and check for proper assembly (tight fit)!

8.1.3. Procedure for using the forklift truck for IBC loading
Adhere to the forklift requirements in chapter 6.6. With the exception of the
CellCube, all other packing pieces can be loaded by means of the forklift truck.
When loading the IBCs, pay particular attention to the weight and a possible shifting
of the centre of gravity. (The centre of gravity may change due to the fluid shifting!)

When transporting IBCs by means of a forklift truck, drive slowly to prevent the fluid
in the IBC from moving back and forth excessively.

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 28 of 53
Attention: Sharp metallic objects may
destroy the plastic container of the IBC & the canister
allowing electrolyte to emerge!

Always wear personal protective equipment.

(see safety data sheet for vanadium electrolyte solution)

Load the truck such that the weight load is suitable for the truck used (and complies
with the technical and legal specifications).

Keep the loading surface well-swept and dry!

Adhere to the load distribution / weight load
suitable for the vehicle and required by legal
regulations!

8.2. Transport in a sea freight container
First all batteries are transported to the port of shipment by truck.
Possible ports are e.g. Hamburg or Rotterdam.
For transport on ships, the CellCube and its accessories must be in seaworthy
packaging. Have seaworthy packaging (for sea freight) carried out by a suitable
packaging and stowing company. In general, all packing items can be packaged in a
40HC container for stowing in case of sea freight.

When loading and unloading the transport goods (see chapter 8), pay particular
attention to the hazards described in chapter 2:
(also refer to chapter 2)

Act with caution and wear/use suitable protective equipment, especially when the
weather conditions are unfavourable.

8.3. Blocking off the location for loading

Generally we recommend blocking the area required for loading from being
accessed by unauthorised and uninvolved persons and marking it appropriately.

If local conditions make it necessary to block off the access route to the installation
site or temporary storage site for loading / unloading and moving the CellCube
system (and the IBC containers) to the installation foundation or other areas, the
client or carrier must inform the responsible local authorities in due time.

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 31 of 53
9. Securing of loaded goods
9.1. On a truck
The individual packing pieces are to be placed on the truck so that the load is suitably
distributed (see chapter 8.1.3) and secured against sliding / tilting.
Secure the load according to the currently valid legal regulations (VDI2700, DIN EN 12195-
...). Place suitable anti-slip mats (with a coefficient of friction of 0.6) beneath the individual
packing pieces. Use suitable fastening belts to secure individual packing pieces on the truck
and/or use other auxiliary means to distribute the load and give it additional support (e.g.
pallets, edge protection brackets, etc....). When securing the load, ensure that the goods are
not damaged. (Only fasten on the points intended for this purpose!)

Load securing of the IBCs and pallets:

Place anti-slip mats beneath the IBCs, after ensuring that the bed is as dry and free of dirt as
possible. Use fastening belts to secure the load, but only fasten them over the metal grid of
the IBCs (using edge protection brackets and empty pallets, etc., to distribute the strain on
the metal grid).

Example of an anti-slip mat beneath an IBC Example of fastened IBCs on a truck with edge
protection brackets
and a wooden pallet (for load distribution)

Depending on the IBC a belt pre-tension of min. 500 daN (250 daN on the RH and LH side
each) is required for securing the load - for 2 IBCs placed next to each other, 2 belts with a
total pre-tension of 1,000 daN (STF min. 350 daN according to the label) are required!
This applies to a securing angle of > 75°!

When securing the load, also ensure that the loaded goods are not damaged!
In general, fastening with belts is intended to ensure that the loaded goods are reliably and
sufficiently pressed to the bed using anti-slip mats to prevent slipping. When tensioning the
belts, we recommend doing this at an angle close to 90°, as this results in the lowest
minimum pre-tensioning force for the fastening belts.

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 32 of 53
Load securing of the CellCube:
Also place anti-slip mats (with a coefficient of friction of 0.6) beneath the 6 adjustable feet of
the CellCube, after ensuring that the bed is as dry and free of dirt as possible. Use the
fastening belts to sufficiently and reliably press the CellCube on the anti-slip mats onto the
bed (see below). To do so, hook the belts into the respective handle blocks (attachment
eyes) and fasten the other side to the hook-in points on the truck, then tighten it (refer to the
following figures and diagrams).

›› Adhere to the following instructions for attaching the fastening belts:

Use two fastening belts per handle block (attachment eye) (a total of 8x per CellCube) with a
pre-tensioning force (STF) of min. 500daN per belt and anchor them to the truck at a min.
anchoring angle of 75° (corresponds to an offset of max. 0.7 m in relation to the horizontal
base point (adjustable foot)). (refer to the transport information below).

(Ensure that the truck is equipped with the required belts!)

We recommend fastening belts complying with EN 12195 with an LC value of min.

2500daN (5000 daN) for straight tensioning!

Anti-slip mats are always obligatory!

Always adhere to the currently valid legal regulations for load securing at the
respective location!

When delivering the CellCube, check that the fastening belts

have the correct STF & LC value and are undamaged!
For the values, refer to the sewed-on blue label (testing label). All fastening belts
must be equipped with a blue testing label and must comply to the relevant standard (DIN
EN 12195-2).

Example of blue testing label on the fastening belt

9.2. In a sea freight container

Have a suitable packaging & stowing company secure the load in the sea freight
container separately according to the valid regulations. As the stowing of the 40HC
container is generally not carried out by Cellstrom GmbH itself, the following
information only contains instructions for pre-packaging the CellCube on a transport
skid required for stowing the CellCube in the sea freight container. (see also chapter
4, Packaging appropriate for transport)

necessary, tighten them!

Securely screw-fit (min. M16 threaded bolts) the CellCube to the wooden skid by
means of the fixed container fastening bracket. When doing so, ensure that the
screw connections are in the centre of the beam and pierce the entire beam to
guarantee a reliable and sufficiently strong connection. Ensure that the adjustable
feet and above all the container fastening brackets sit on the continuous beams!
In addition, screw-fit a suitable wooden beam to the wooden skid in front and behind
the CellCube in a form-fitting manner.

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 37 of 53
We also recommend strapping the CellCube to the wooden skid.

CellCube

This chapter is intended to provide information on unloading the CellCube battery

from the stowed sea freight container up to the point when the CellCube is available
for being loaded onto a truck. (For loading and transport, refer to the previous
chapter.)
Please adhere to the respective relevant hazardous goods regulations for unloading
the hazardous goods IBCs (also refer to the safety data sheet for the vanadium
electrolyte solution, hazardous material of hazard class 8, UN3264). Depending on
the version and accessories, all system components may be stowed in the sea
freight container together with the CellCube.
Have a suitable expert packaging and stowing company carry out both the
seaworthy packaging and stowing and the unstowing and unpacking to ensure that
the respective local and international regulations are adhered to and immediate and
consequential damage is avoided.

10.1. Required personnel / equipment / materials

If the packaging film is in your way for installing the above-mentioned unloading aids
(UPE 100 steel with eyelets...), cut it open with the Stanley knife until you have a
clear view of the beam. You can recognise the correct wooden beam by the multiple
bolts connecting it to the platform beneath.

Please do not undo or remove those bolts / nuts!

They guarantee the stability of the skid and should remain untouched.

When pulling the CellCube out of the sea freight container, ensure that the chain is
as horizontal as possible. Carefully pull out the CellCube, avoiding sudden
movements and shocks.

IMPORTANT!!!
Always check all parts that will be tensioned after the pulling process before pulling
(or in general prior to each lifting, securing and pulling process). This means
checking all chains, ropes and securing belts for their suitability and perfect
condition and checking all pulling, securing or lifting points for perfect condition and
tight fit. Never move into the direct hazard area!

2 auxiliary workers should always be available to give instructions and ensure that
the wooden skid remains straight while being pulled out of the container and that the
top of the FB10-20-30 CellCube battery does not come in contact with the container
to avoid damage.

For your information: The wooden skid is constructed to prevent it from sliding
laterally towards the container wall, so that contact with and damage to the FB10-
20-30 CellCube battery is prevented.

Have experienced personnel with appropriate training unload the FB10-20-30

CellCube battery.

When the forks of the forklift truck point the opposite direction from the container,
drive forward slowly. When the forks of the forklift truck point in the direction of the
container, slowly drive backward with the forklift truck and pull out the wooden skid
until only approx. 20 cm of it remain in the container (see photo below).

Padding
Example: CellCube not yet completely removed from the sea freight container

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 46 of 53
Please always place e.g. suitable wooden beams beneath the pulled-out CellCube
to reach the same level as the container and prevent the CellCube from tilting!

Please ensure that the chain remains in the correct position during the entire pulling
process and work cautiously as there is a danger of crushing!

Then undo the chain from the wooden skid. Drive to one side of the wooden skid
with the forklift truck.

Carefully lift the wooden skid by ~2 cm. Note the height of the container door! Move
the forks sideways to lift the wooden skid with the FB10-20-30 CellCube battery out
of the container.

Example: CellCube not yet completely removed from the sea freight container

Once the wooden skid has been placed on the floor, remove the entire packaging
film.

10.3.2. Unpacking the FB10-20-30 CellCube battery

Example: CellCube unloaded from a sea freight container

First remove the tarpaulin. Beneath it, the CellCube battery is fastened to the
wooden skid by 3 polyethylene cords. Cut them with a Stanley knife. Be cautious
when cutting the cords, as they are tensioned.

TRV_FB10-20-30_80-000026_V01.00_MAD_2014-04-29_EN.docx Page: 47 of 53
Example: CellCube prior to unpacking

If the wooden beam on the front of the skid is in the way for lifting the FB10-20-30
CellCube battery, remove the beam. To do so, a spanner set is required to open the
nuts (or an angle grinder to cut the bolts) if they cannot be opened (only in
emergency cases! Attention: also use all protection equipment required by local
regulations!).

If you use an angle grinder, ensure that no sparks or metal chips land on the
CellCube battery as they may damage the housing. For this reason, we recommend
placing a protective cover in front of the CellCube battery.

Example: CellCube during unpacking

The CellCube battery is connected to the wooden skid by means of threaded bolts
and hexagonal nuts, thus securing it for transport (three might be additional
fastening means). Prior to lifting the CellCube off the wooden skid, use an M16
socket to completely turn down the hexagonal nuts and remove the container
fastening bracket and any other fastening means. (see the following diagrams)

Once the M16 nuts have been removed from all 4 sides of the threaded bolts on the
adjustable feet and the 4 container fastening brackets of the CellCube have also
been removed, the CellCube can be prepared for the lifting process again. To do so,
fasten the suitable round slings (in general supplied with the CellCube) to the handle
blocks (attachment eyes).

Assembly of round slings for later lifting by means of a crane

Check the secure fit of the screw-fitted handle blocks (attachment eyes) prior to each lifting
and securing process. Also ensure that all lifting and securing means are suitable and
licensed according to the valid standards!

We recommend using a suitable crane to lift the CellCube battery off the wooden
skid and deposit it.

Never lift the FB10-20-30 CellCube battery off the wooden skid before all
connections of the battery with the wooden skid have been undone.

Add to the packaging and marking of the CellCube if required. Now the battery is
ready for further transport by truck and/or being lifted by a suitable crane or forklift
truck (for further information, refer to previous chapters).

IMPORTANT!!!
Ensure that the sea freight container is returned in a completely unloaded and clean
state. Cleaning costs arising at the container terminal are always invoiced and very
high.

11. Notes on the transport procedure
If exceptional events occur on the transport route, document them and inform
Cellstrom to determine possible changes or damage to the product and, if
necessary, take appropriate measures.

12. Temporary storage of the transported goods

If the transported goods have to be stored temporarily on the transport route, adhere
to the following points:

 The minimum and maximum storage temperature is identical to the

temperature ranges listed in chapter 2.3 (transport limitations & special
regulations).
 As during transport, never stack the IBCs when they are filled during storage.
 The IBCs can only be stored for a limited time as they are ADR-certified
hazardous good packaging
 If temporary storage of the CellCube inside (protection against the weather,
e.g. rain or snow) is not possible, use a tarp to protect the battery

13. Delivery, transfer of goods and unpacking

Prior to delivery of the goods to the destination, temporary storage location or
transfer point, the respective goods acceptance department and/or the personnel
responsible for acceptance is to be informed of the goods' characteristics and the
risks involved in handling the battery and its accessories.

On receipt of the delivery, immediately check the individual packing pieces of the
CellCube for completeness and damage. Document any damage and have its
extent confirmed by the carrier on the bill of lading / delivery note (take pictures of
the damage).
Immediately inform Cellstrom (transport damage feedback with the corresponding
photos).

Please also adhere to the measures for possibly blocking off the installation /
transfer or temporary storage location listed in point 8.3.
