The gold museum is


situated on the
capital of Colombia,
Bogota. In there you
can find gold
sculptures made by
the muiscas tribe
many years ago.

Poporo Quimbaya
The poporos are containers
that the indigenous people
used to store lime used in
the ritual. To extract the
lime from the container,
metal sticks were also
used.

The golden raft.


It is a piece of votive pre-
Columbian goldsmith made by the
Muisca culture. It's esteemed that
the figure was made between 600 and
1600 AD. C. by casting to the lost
wax in gold with a small quantity
of copper. The figure alludes to
the ceremony of the legend of El
Dorado.
