The Story of an Hour

By Kate Chopin (1894)

In this story, it also centers on the quest for women to find their own identity inside
herself. Through hearing this story, we can see that she's put her personal experience into the
novel. This tale is like Chopin's story. She's had some rough relationships. She was searching
inside herself to discover her inner identity. Throughout this story, Louise is the Chopin. She
tried to discover herself many occasions. That motif appears to motivate Kate Chopin appreciate
her own life at the time she was in

The story usually talks about the acceptance of the female’s identity in a means world. In
the story Louise's happy response to her husband's death indicates that marriage ends in coercion
and lack of independence, particularly for women. For me the story is all about finding identity
expressing the nature of marriage. It talks about language and communication freedom and
confinement time and mortality

There is only one thing that sinks in my head upon reading this story is that marriage is
the legal bond of life. A consensual relationship between two people in order to bind heart,
conscience, and even more material matters, such as wealth, land, and so on. Freedom stands for
something more than just the right to act, however I prefer it always means giving everyone an
equal chance for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. In marriage we have the freedom to
choose whom would we spend our life with but we are prisoned of the that when we state our
promises to be with side by side forever in time of destruction of the marriage.

The Chaser

By John Collier

A short explanation about the title. Chaser is a cocktail taken to replace the first alcoholic
drink. The chaser may be intoxicated or non-alcoholic. For example, a person could take a
straight shot of whiskey and then replace it with a small cup of water to infuse the whiskey
already in his stomach. One rising variation in bars is a shot of straight whiskey accompanied by
a tiny pint of beer. Collier's story utilizes the differentiate between credulous youth and fatigued
involvement to comment on the genuine nature of cherish; or at slightest that sort of rich adore
experienced by the youthful.

About the Story on what I've understood Collier's storyline a poisonous cocktail meant to
kill a woman who is suffocating a protagonist with so much passion and obsessiveness. The first
cocktail was the love potion he had to buy to help her fall in love with him. The term "chaser" in
this story has nothing to do with running or pursuing anyone; it's another fancy word for the
lethal toxin that the narrator is likely to use to kill his spouse.

Upon reading the story I’ve discover that Some time recently you'll receive love and
regard from others, you wish to love and respect yourself. After you make choices out of blame,
a have to be if it's not too much trouble or to dodge struggle, you exaggerate the wants of others
and disregard yourself. This passes on to yourself and those around you that you just
acknowledge exceptionally small. That doesn’t feel exceptionally great, does it? Self-love is your
strongest weapon to living a satisfying life. That’s since your internal world makes your external
world.
