DEED OF RECTIFICATION

THIS DEED OF RECTIFICATION made and executed at this

hereinafter called the PARTY OF THE FIRST PART, (which express shall, unless repugnant to
the context, mean and include the said firm, its present and future partners, their heirs,
executors, administrators and assigns) of the One Part

hereinafter called the PARTY OF THE SECOND PART, (which express shall,
unless repugnant to the context, mean and include their heirs, executors,
administrators and assigns) of the Other Part.
WHEREAS the party of the first part had constructed a multi-storeyed building
consisting of residential flats on the Plot No. of known as _____;
AND WHEREAS the parties of the second part had booked various flats in the said
apartments;
AND WHEREAS, accordingly, the booking agreements have been executed by the
parties hereto, and these agreements have been registered with the office of the Joint Sub-
Registrar, Room no. II, under serial numbers and dated herein below :

AND WHEREAS in the said booking agreements, the number of flats, as shown at the
time on the ground floor, was three. However, by the time the completion of the building
did take place, there were four flats on the ground floor, and because there was addition of
this one flat, the numbering of all the flats was required to be changed;
AND WHEREAS because of this, the mistakes in the numbers of the flats were carried
into the booking agreements also;
AND WHEREAS, now, it has become essential to rectify the same:
NOW, THIS DEED WITNESSES, and it is hereby agreed by and between the parties
as follows :
1. That the parties hereto mutually accord, declare and effect correction and
rectification in the aforesaid booking agreements as indicated here in below :

2. That the corrected numbers shall be read to be the numbers of the flats in the said
booking agreements in the place of the old numbers, and the parties of the second
part shall be deemed to have purchased and acquired the flats under the corrected
numbers.
3. That the booking agreements mentioned herein above are hereby, accordingly,
modified, rectified and corrected.
