2. Now, locate the company file and select ‘Check File Damage Only’, and then
‘Diagnose File’.
3. Now, choose to open the file in newer version, or repair file in the existing version.

 Rename the file


1. Locate your company file folder and choose the choose the corresponding .ND file of
your company.
2. Now, rename the .ND file to .ND.OLD.
3. Similarly, rename the .TLG to .TLG.OLD.
4. Now, try to open the QuickBooks company file.

 Transfer the file to another location


In case you are not able to open the company file, try moving the file to different location.
Now, try to open it. If you are working on a server connection, copy the file on the computer
you are using QuickBooks and access it.

window user. Make sure you select the user type as Administrator. After creating the new
