BROTHERS!
The Wright Brothers, Orville and Wilbur, were American pioneers who
invented the world’s very first successful airplane! They were also the
first to fly an airplane! They accomplished these world-changing projects
in 1903. Their first flight took approximately 12 seconds in Kitty Hawk,
North Carolina. The Wright Brothers were also the very first people to
create aircraft controls that allowed powered flight to be possible!

WILBUR WRIGHT

Their creation began when they started to wonder how a pilot would be
able to balance an aircraft in the air just like how a person balances a
bicycle on the road. They began testing many different aircrafts and
failed at many attempts. However, they eventually got it right! The
Wright Brothers changed the way we see our world today. Before the
great invention, people just traveled in two dimensions.
