Chess Championship 10. 7. – 13. 7. 2020); Quiz will be played after Rapid in the evening

Playing system: Open tournament, Swiss system, 9 rounds according to FIDE rules for Rapid chess.
Playing time is 2 x 10 min. + 5 s/move (Fischer). The waiting time is 10 minutes
from the start of the round. Tournament will be sent to the FIDE Rapid rating list.
Tournament is opened also for international players.

Prize fund: 1.400 €

categories of rating prizes they are not cumulated)

Starting fee: 12 € - players who play International Slovak Amateur Chess Championship (10. – 13. 7.)
14 € - players born 2006 and younger, players born 1955 and older, women, Sev DP
(disabled persons), players with rating 1000 or without rating
16 € - others
Families with at least one player and two children players U18 (or 3 children players
U18) will have discount 15% on starting fee.
Registration form: Sent completed registration form (name & surname, date of birth, a request on
accommodation & food, phone contact) electronically to riabov@chess.sk or by google
form. An updated List of players is on chess-results.
Deadline of registration: 28th June 2020 (Sunday).
Registration after deadline possible (with increased fee of 3 EUR – does not apply to
players who play International Slovak Amateur Chess Championship).

Ranking: The sum of points obtained from all of games. If there is the same number of points, then
ranking will be decided by 1. Buchholz (without the weakest opponent), 2. Buchholz, 3.
Progressive points, 4. The number of wins, 5. The result of mutual game or 6. lot.
Accommodation: Dormitory T. Vansovej – 9,70 € person/night – 150 m far from the playing hall
Hotel Kopacka – 15 € person/night 300 m far from the playing hall
Pension Batavya – 15 € person/night – 350 m far from the playing hall
Hotel Koruna / Hotel Felix – 30 € person/night – 30 m far from the playing hall
Food: Beef-pork goulash - 4 €.
Prize fund: More prizes can be cumulated by one player. Category rating can be cumulated with main
prizes. However, across categories of rating prizes are not cumulated.
