Scissors & Planes 100 series

Read carefully before starting

General Building Information

Scissors & Planes models are designed to be built in a short period of time. Depending on your
skill a normal model will take from 30 to 90 minutes to build.

A number of standard design elements are used within these models. Following the general
building information will enable you to construct the models in this kit without difficulty.

Remember that you can print the model several times.

1. First of all; before starting to cut out the parts of your model, you must prepare the folds
by scoring them with a pointed object. Follow the indications in the legend in order to
know what should or should not be scored.

2. Cut out the parts using a pair of scissors or a modelling knife. Cut the tabs where
indicated by the blue circle.

3. Roll the rounded parts around a cylindrical object such as a pencil. Glue the rounded
parts and when specified on the building schematic sculpt them into the required form.

4. Fold the other parts and glue them as indicated on the building schematic.

5. The wing spar should be glued at around 1/3rd of the wing chord. The triangle in the wing
spar always indicates the top closest to the fuselage.

6. Glue the parts together. The parts are numbered in the preferential building order. The
seam of the rounded parts must be aligned and will usually be found on the bottom side
of the model.
