Above is the drawing of my imagination of the poem, this poem was very sarcastic so it was

hard to think of a design/layout. I have drawn on the right a man pressing the ww3 button
(refers to “The General at the radar screen rubbed his hands with glee and grinning pressed
the button that started World War Three”) which caused everything to happen to
everybody else which refers to the poem, this conveys how one person (government) can
change everything happening and also how one person can bring an end to it as well.
Above as you can see I have drawn a butcher which is getting hurt and his shop breaking
apart due to the war this refers to the line where “‘Reus!’ cried the German butcher
as his shop can tumbling down”. I have also drawn the queen and her house breaking apart
(refers to “The Queen was in the parlour Eating bread and honey When through the window
Flew a bomb and made them go all funny”). I have drawn a homeless man and bullets
coming towards him which shows how everybody is getting effected. I have drawn a man
which is counting his money meaning that people are so isolated in the illusion of “money”
and how they don’t care about their surroundings (war). The reason I have shown these
different types of illustrations referring to the poem is because I wanted to sing the poem
through paper. I believe this Is a great way to show the impact of ww3 on everybody and it
refers to the text well.
