OBJECTIVE AND MOTIVATION, DOMAIN::

Objective :
The primary goal of this study is to develop an android-based healthcare application,
which can assist the users to monitor their children's timing of vaccinations,
Scheduled intake of medicine and Emergency The application is developed using an
android operating system environment. Java programming language is used to
develop the system.The qualitative method is used to study the objective. The report
depicts a brief study of the new development in the application. The descriptive
analysis points out that the application is effective to deal with health-related issues.

Motivation: ​Our motivation behind this project is that , during COVID-19 no one
would prefer going to hospitals for checkup to protect themselves from this pandemic
virus and therefore we have designed an app that will give them reliable information
about their health in the comfort of home.
Also, in our daily life, which is full of problems for example businessmen have the
tension of clients, labourers have tension of wages, students tension of assignment
submission, online classes, and many more, so during this time people mainly forget
taking their medicines timely and regularly. Seeing this we have thought of designing
something like a medical alarm.

Domain:
The domain name is used by Android Studio to generate a package name. The
package name is just a unique identifier for the application in the Google Play Store.
It can be anything as long as it is unique. Generally, we use reverse domain names
like com.something. or org.something. structure for naming Java packages.
Our domain name is com.expertisehealthcheckup. As our app tells about the
person’s health after he/she enters the data such as age, name, gender, and
problem he/she is facing.

Introduction :
Technology is evolving at a faster pace than it was a decade ago. There are a
number of applications that are being developed to run on these tech devices. To
back these applications, the device needs a powerful Operating System. One such
OS which is the major technological breakthrough is Android. The increase in the
number of mobile phones having Android OS has resulted in an increase in the
number of third-party applications. There are a number of applications which have
brought together technology and many other fields. One such application tried for
effective coalesce of Technology and Medical Science is “Expertise Health
Checkup”. This report describes the process and result of such an application
“Expertise Health Checkup”.

This Health Prediction application is an end-user support and online consultation

project. Here we propose an android application that allows users to get instant
guidance on their children vaccinations through an intelligent health care application
online and also an alert of their prescribed medicines to be taken.

Features to be developed in the project?

Using this Application, we are going to develop the following features:
Children Health:
 ● In the busy world where both the parents are working for most of the newborn
babies, there arises a need for a reminder to notify parents about the due date
of various vaccination of their child.
● This feature has been taken care of in the ‘Child Health’ module in this
application.
● Parents need to only enter their child’s details like Name, Date of Birth and
Date and Time of installation of this application.
● A list of 16 vaccinations appears in another activity with due date and name of
the due Vaccination.
● One can enter data about the ‘n’ number of children in one application at a
time.
Medication Alert:
● In this part of the Application, one has to spend some time only to enter the
name of the medicine he is prescribed to take, and at what time he is
supposed to take it.
● The rest of the task is done by this application. The user will be notified as an
Email alert.

Emergency:
● This module has been developed keeping in mind a very serious condition
which may occur to anyone anytime. It may happen that a person when alone
undergoes a serious life-threatening condition.
● In such a case the person can take the help of this app by just pressing a
button. On pressing the ​‘Emergency’​ button, the user needs to enter his/her
basic info about him/her in the forum.
● This info will be sent to the user’s nearby hospitals.

Leave your query:

● In this module of the application, a user can enter any query related to his
health. He will be directed to a log-in page. He can send us an email
regarding his query and we will reply him back with appropriate suggestions
and recommendations within 24 - 48 hours.

So all the features of this application are:​ Children Health, Medication Alert,
Emergency, Leave your query.

Outcome::
Children health:
A Complete List Of All Vaccinations as mentioned by the Deptt. Of Health And
Family Welfare is Given.
When you enter the Date of Birth of your child then according to the Date of Birth,
the estimated dates for the vaccinations are calculated and an Email will send for the
date with Vaccination Name respectively.
Thus, ‘Expertise Health Checkup’ will alert you on the estimated date to provide the
child with the vaccination as per the date.
You have to follow the following steps to set alarms for vaccinations:
● ​When clicking on the ‘Children Health’ button, a dialog box will pop up where
parents need to enter the information about the child.
● There is an Email field in the form, to the provided email an alert will be sent
on the particular date of the Vaccination day.

Medication Alert:
This program will send an email alert at medicine time. You need to provide the
medicine name and the time at which you should take the medicine and in return, it
will alert you at the specified time to take the medicine.
Enter the medicine name, how many times a day.
● Select the time.
● Click on save.

Emergency:
At the time of emergency, when you need help, you don’t have to scroll through your
contacts and send SMS and make a Phone call to some hospital nearby who could
help you at that moment if you use this program. This program helps you to do the
following: ​In such a case the person can take the help of this app by just pressing a
button. On pressing the ​‘Emergency’​ button, the user needs to enter his/her basic
info about him/her in the forum. This info will be sent to the user’s nearby hospitals.
All these steps which could help you at the time of need with just one click of the
button, just make sure you fill in the information right when the forum is shown.
● Enter your name, mobile number.
● Click on submit.
● It calls or SMS the respected hospital nearby in case of emergency.
