Philosophy
of
Teaching
I strongly believe that a Music classroom should be a safe,
caring community where students are free to speak their minds and
grow towards their maximum potential. I will use teaching strategies to
ensure our classroom community will flourish not just musically, but
holistically.

I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high

expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my
students,as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and
warmth to my teaching in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and
encourage such traits in the children as well.  I hope that my
students will use their experiences from our Music class in inspiring,
and empowering not just their peers, but especially those who need
them in the community.

Music should not be enclosed in the classroom, thus, should be

shared outside.

Emem is a Music student under the Choral Conducting program of the UP
College of Music. With her background in performing arts, Emem is
exposed to working in an organizational setting both as a leader and a
team player. She is also well-versed in communicating, interacting, and
handling people with different personalities from various settings and
communities
