Click Advanced > System Tools > Firmware Upgrade > Local Upgrade then click ‘Browse’ to select the
file at the destination folder. Click ‘Open’ then click ‘Upgrade’.

After Firmware successfully upgraded, please perform Factory Default Restore before you start
configure the RGW. To perform this activity, click Advanced > System Tools > Backup & Restore >
Factory Default Restore then click ‘Factory Restore’ button.

1. Connect the BTU/ONT device to the WAN Port.

2. Connect the DECT Phone or fax machine (if any) to the PHONE 1 or PHONE 2 port.

3. Plug in the power adaptor than push the Power button to turning ON the RGW.

4. Verify that the following LEDs turn stable before


continuing with the configuration.

1. Connect your computer to the RGW via wired or wireless connection.

2. Connect your RGW to the internet.
2.1 Launch the web browser then key in URL http://tplinkmodem.net or 192.168.1.1

2.2 Key in the Username and Password then click ‘Log In’

3. Select Quick Setup and follow the step-by-step instructions

4. Select Internet Service Mode: Celcom2 and Internet Service Type: Celcom 2 Home
then click ‘Next’

5. Key in the Username, Password and Confirm Password as per details given in your Work Order
then click ‘Next’

6. Key in the Phone Number, Authentication ID and Password as per details given in your
Work Order then click ‘Next’

7. You can change the default SSID and password as preferred by the customer then click ‘Next’.
After RGW successfully rebooted, please reconnect the device by using the new SSID and
Password.

8. Please choose your current connection then click ‘Next’

9. Click ’Finish’ for the configuration to take effect.

Once completed, the page as below will be appeared for HSI

After rebooted, it will takes around 2


minutes to establish the internet
connection. The ‘tick’ icon mean
the internet service is ‘UP’.

Once the internet status showing


correctly ‘IP Address’ and ‘DNS
Server’, mean you can enjoy already
the internet service.

To verify the Phone (VoBB) connection, please go to Basic > Telephony > Telephone Numbers then
check the Status

Means, both services (HSI & VoBB) should be working fine !

Click Basic > Internet and check all details in the Internet Connection Setup box. Other than Username
and Password, please ensure:
i. VLAN ID (enable) = tick
ii. VLAN ID (1-4904) = 623
iii. Internet Connection Type = PPPoE
After checking all the details, please click ‘Save’

Click Basic > Telephony > Telephone Numbers then click the at the Modify column.
After checking all the details, please click ‘Save’
Change WiFi SSID & Password

To change the WiFi SSID or Password, please click Basic > Wireless > Wireless Settings. Key in all the
details that you want to changes then click ‘Save’
