ENDANGERED ANIMALS IN ECUADOR

Ecuador has a wide ecosystem, characterized by a considerable variety of animals, many of


which have been compromised in recent years due to many causes, mainly artificial. The
existence of a good group of animals has been affected.
In fact, they have been added to a long list that has not only depended on destruction caused
by human actions, homewer is also due to climatic changes and other modifications that
have occurred in the environment of all habitats.
For the most part, endangered species are known as such because they are primarily exotic
animals that are exposed to hunting and other inappropriate destinations for the
environment and for the entire planet.
All animals are always backed by biodiversity, managing to keep the negative effects of the
environment and humans completely relieved and fighting to survive.
Here are some of the animals in danger of extinction in Ecuador:
 Andean Toucan: the Andean Toucan, also known as the Great-billed Toucan,
 Giant armadillo
 Pink dolphin: the Pink Dolphin, also known according to the area it inhabits as
Bufeo, Boto, Dolphin of the Amazon or Tonina
 Harpy eagle
 Andean condor
 Jaguar
 Spectacled Bear
 Galapagos Albatros
 Zamarrito Pechinegro
 Galapagos penguin
