    Re: Proper filling of the “Claim Category” field

    With this we remind the importance of properly selection of the “Claim Category” when you
    submit the warranty claims on the “Garsys” system, as we have already highlighted to you
    with the communication of April 20, 2011.

    For more details we recommend you to consult the guidelines on the “Manual for the user”.
    You find this manual by clicking “Help” in the “SAV-SYSTEM - Management warranties” by
    using your login.

    The “Claim Category” field includes the following categories:

    W – Standard warranty
    X – Extend warranty
    P – Policy
    F – Campaign ATP
    R – Spare part warranty

    _IMPORTANT_
    In the case your warranty claim refers to a MERLO telehandler which has an extended
    warranty term, you can not select the standard warranty category (cat. W) and also on the
    opposite case.

    _ATTENTION_
    The field “Claim Category” is very important for statistic purposes and to improve the
    management control of After Sales Dpt.
    For this reason we underline the importance of selecting the correct category; in the case the
    “Claim Category” has not been inserted correctly, MERLO will decline the interested warranty
    claim.
