A Technical Description

Definition:

A printer that is designed by Xerox to accommodate such number of printing in different sizes of paper.

Function:

Can print up to 60,000 images per month and has a output capacity of 300 sheets. It can be use at office
and home and can be use easily because of its wireless feature where it uses 10/100 BaseTX Ethernet,
and Parallel (IEEE 1284).

Overview:

The dimensions of the printer is 400mm x 493mm x 470mm, its weight is about 62.3 lb or 28.3 kg, its
operating environment is in the range of 50-90°F or 10-32°C, the power consumption is estimated at 450
W, and it has three trays for different paper sizes depending on its application on printing.

Components:

The main components of this printer is cover, xerographics, and paper feeder.

Cover is the outer part of the printer where it covers the printer’ interior, avoiding dust and unwanted
particles to enter and affect the performance of the printer.

The Xerographics is the part where the printer can create multiple copies at a certain speed depending
on the quality of printing.

The paper feeder is where the paper is placed to be used in printing. There are three different paper
feeder in the printer and has different paper limit to avoid paper jamming and to utilize the printer’s
performance.
