AMENDED GUIDELINES IN DEPED ORDER NO. 26, S. 2014
(Policies and Guidelines on the Implementation of the Government Assistance
to Students and Teachers in Private Education (GASTPE) Program Effective
School Year (SY) 2014-2015)

1, The Department of Education (DepEd) amends Item IV.B. 1 (Amounts of the
ESC and Other Financial Matters) of the enclosure to DepEd Order No. 26, s. 2014
(Policies and Guidelines on the Implementation of the Government Assistance to
Students and Teachers in Private Education (GASTPE) Program Effective School Year
(SY) 2014-2015), which reads as:
The amount of subsidy for Grade 7 grantees in SY 2014-
2015 in regions outside the NCR shall be Six Thousand Five
Hundred Pesos (P 6,500.00) per grantee for an entire school
year, subject to the adjustments approved by the State
Assistance Council (SAC)...
2. This provision is amended as follows:
The amount of subsidy for Grade 7 grantees in SY 2014-
2015 in regions outside the NCR shall be Seven Thousand
Five Hundred Pesos (P 7,500.00) per grantee for an entire
school year, subject to the adjustments approved by the
State Assistance Council (SAC)...
3. The One Thousand Pesos (P 1,000.00) increase in the subsidy Is in recognition
of the increases in tuition and other school fees in private schools. The increase was
approved by the State Assistance Council (SAC) through a referendum and is
applicable only to the new grantees for SY 2014-2015. The amount of subsidy
for Grades 8-10 grantees in regions outside NCR shall be the same as that
they received in the previous school year (Grades 8 and 9, P 6,500.00 and Grade
10, P 5,500.00 per grantee). The amount of subsidy for students in NCR remains to
be P 10,000.00 per grantee for an entire school year.

5. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Order is directed.
