TRAINING PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
• Provide skills training to TVET Trainers
and leaders in writing research;
• Further deepen the participants’
understanding and knowledge on how
to write research for Institutional
development;
• Upgrade competencies of trainers and
administrators in responding to
relevant needs of the TVET sector.

• Conceptualize research related to
technical-vocational education and
training (TVET);
• Design and develop research on TVET
themes using appropriate methodology
and design;
• Demonstrate understanding on
gathering, collecting and organizing
data and information to support

TVET

topics in TVET;
• Identifying relevant themes and
research topics;
• Formulating researchable research
problems/questions;
• Reviewing literature for a research
study;
• Writing a brief research concept;

appropriate methodology
• Research design and methods
• Quantitative, Qualitative and Mixed

• Elements and process of research
methodology and design;
• Selecting and writing the research

analyze data to support research
