Adolescent psychology is the study of human development during adolescence, the transition period between childhood and adulthood. Understanding adolescent psychology is important for the author's course because most of their colleagues are adolescents, and studying how adolescents think and behave can help develop good relationships. Adolescence is when puberty and maturity begin, so examining this developmental stage provides insight into how psychological and behavioral changes during puberty impact individuals.

The study of an interest in adolescence in the field of psychology and
elucidates the coming of age of the field of adolescent development. The first use of the term adolescence appeared in the 15th century. The term was a derivative of the Latin word “adolescere”, which means to grow up or to grow into maturity (Muuss, 1990).
2. How Adolescent Psychology related to your course and why we need to
study Adolescent psychology?
In my course, the behavior of every individual was observed. Most of my
colleagues are adolescents and understanding every characteristic, attitude and thought helps to develop a good relationship with everyone. We need to study adolescent psychology for better understanding of the stage where puberty and maturity starts, dealing with the different aspects of every human behavior that affects the psychological development.
