Installation Instructions for


C-3 and C-3C Side Load Housings
Housing Installation Filter Installation
1. The housings should be permanently
installed and the system blown out
before the filters are installed.

2. The flanges of the housing should be


bolted, riveted or welded to the mating
flanges of the ductwork. All joints
should be sealed with a suitable caulking
compound, such as Dow Corning 732,
building silastic, or G.E. RTV, or equal.

3. For stacked or butted units only: When


one unit is placed on top of another it is
necessary to use a steel batten strip
(against the horizontal seal formed by
the junction of the two units) to bolt
